Sofia’s design supports orphans of femicide.
  
Participation in the Salone del Mobile in Milan is one of the most critical moments of the year for Montbel. It renewed its collections for the occasion by introducing new national and international designers.
  
This year the Company wanted to do something more.
  
Montbel, a socially conscious company, supports the Edela Association, a non-profit that provides aid and protection to orphans of femicide and fosters families across the country. They will donate a portion of the proceeds from selling the new Sofia chair, designed by Edi and Paolo Ciani specifically for this cause.
Available in the two basic 4-spoke swivel aluminium versions and beechwood legs, the new Sofia armchair is an important social project that links the Company to Edela. The goal is that more and more people learning about the project will join us in giving a second chance to these children.
  
The proceeds will make it possible to continue to offer professional psychological help, coaching in education, support for school fees, books and after-school care, medical and food expenses, sports and extracurricular training, giving these children a new chance.
